Registered share (registered certificate)

No unit certificates are issued (standard case) for the assets set up and managed by a capital management company. Rather, the fund keeps a register of investors (a certificate whose owner is listed with the fund. The owner’s name and contact information is documented and kept on file allowing it to pay the revenues to the appropriate person). – See investment share.
