Fixed fee (flat rate compensation; wrap account)
In the case of banks, the charging of a customer – usually a private household – with a lump sum as remuneration for services rendered. The account management fee is usually included in this. – In the case of portfolio management by an asset manager, the service fee charged at contractually fixed times irrespective of transactions (an account where an investor`s portfolio is managed by a portfolio manager who is paid trimestrially or annually based on a fixed payment. Thus the account holder gets protected from overtrading which occurs if a portfolio manager trades an account excessively to make more commission) – See All-in-Fee, High Watermark Method, Bank Fees, Fixed Price Transaction, Base Price, Fee-Back Guarantee, Bait Offer, Flat Rate.
