See Basler. – In Switzerland (where this city is located) one only says “Basler”; so also at the ECB. At the German Bundesbank, in reference to arrogant Prussian government offices looking down with disdain to Switzerland, one persistently writes “Baseler”.

Siehe Basler. – In der Schweiz (wo diese Stadt liegt) sagt man nur “Basler”; so auch bei der EZB. Bei der Deutschen Bundesbank schreibt man in Anlehnung an überhebliche preussische Amtsstuben (arrogant Prussian government offices looking down with disdain to Switzerland) beharrlich “Baseler”.
