Unless otherwise defined, in the financial market generally the announcement of a new type of financial product. – In particular, also the announcement of a fund (subfund, share class) being established by a capital management company; often with the offer to investors to switch to this newly established fund in whole or in part and then usually without a switch fee (switch fee: the scheduled payment when an investor changes from one subfund to another). – See fund mergers, switchers.
