Choice of law

A contractual provision, particularly common in global engagements, which specifies which (supervisory) law is to govern the agreed transaction. – In particular, also a provision on which law should govern in the case of a conflict (legal dispute, lawsuit). – See legal opinion, legal risks, legal dispute, term sheet.
