Yield, cumulative (cumulative return)

The change in price of a security over the specified period, including dividends, interest and capital gains accrued and reinvested during that period. In the case of shares, the time data refer to whole calendar years; in the case of open-ended investment funds, they are generally calculated back from the current month.
