Sustainable investment
A term that emerged around 1990 for an investment in which, in addition to or even before the return, special consideration is (should be) given to – environmental (protection of environment) related, ecological (ecological) aspects as well as – the short- and long-term effects of the commitment on society (the general public; relevant to society). – See substitute money, investment, green, sustainability, eco-fund, sustainability fund.
