Strategy certificate (performance certificate)

A special type of basket certificate in which the issuer continuously reweights the underlying instrument. In doing so, – either the further development of the individual components in the basket is viewed retrospectively on certain observation dates and values that have performed worse are removed (momentum approach), or – underlyings that have performed above average on the market are now newly included in the basket (value approach), or – securities with lower yields, such as above all shares with low dividends, are eliminated (growth approach). – See Participation Certificate, Strong Buy, Theme-
