School economics (mainstream economics)

Economics as it is usually taught in universities and colleges (economics normally taught in universities and colleges). – It should be noted that in public appearances of economists, especially on television, it is almost always outsiders who have their say, namely academic teachers who put themselves in the limelight (throw their weight around) by expressing opinions that deviate from school economics. This is especially true of statements about the financial market, which may seem plausible to the layperson at first glance. In reality, however, they always contain a truncated view of things, i.e. one that does not take the overall context into account at all or only imperfectly. – Incidentally, this also applies to other disciplines, such as medicine or theology in particular. Here, too, outsiders (because they have a high attention to the public) usually have their say.
