Problem of synchronous run
Said in relation to the financial market when – for all asset classes, from commodities to equities to corporate bonds, – over a longer period of time (happening at a longer time) – only one direction, namely up or down, and in addition – worldwide can be observed. – This state of affairs is classified as a systemic risk because it lacks the possibility to diversify risks, i.e. to distribute them appropriately among individual exposures. – See bubble, speculative, bull, bull market, milkmaid bull market, rally, sentiment, value, cyclical.
