Private household questioning

Survey of private households conducted for the first time at the end of 2010 by the Deutsche Bundesbank in cooperation with a polling institute with the aim of gaining more detailed knowledge of their economic situation. In particular, circumstances such as employment, income levels, existing assets, home ownership, savings behavior and retirement provision are to be examined in greater detail. The survey will be continued at two-year intervals. The results are published by the Deutsche Bundesbank. – See non-response, Household Finance and Consumption Survey. – Cf.
