Personnel expenditure quota (staff costs quota)

Unless otherwise defined, this is the total expenditure by a company on its employees in relation to its revenue (cash flow from operating activities) over a specific period. This ratio plays a role in bank ratings, as it usually indicates labor productivity as the ratio of the number of employees to output. – See contribution margin, productivity.
