Oil Bulletin (also in German)
Information on consumer prices for petroleum products published by the statistics & market observatory of the European Commission in Brussels (the European Commission created the market observatory body to attain a better insight into European and international energy markets). Prices are collected at the country level and usually on a weekly basis. These price data are important for the ECB’s monetary policy because of the high importance of the oil price in the cost-of-living price index – both in terms of its weight and its volatility. – See oil price, wage, indexed, oil price equalization, oil price shock. – Cf. ECB Monthly Bulletin, January 2005, pp. 35 ff.
