Income, operational (operational return)
Generally, according to IAS (18.7), the gross inflow of economic value from ordinary activities within a period that results in an increase in equity. – In the case of a bank, the sum of results from ordinary business activities, i.e. interest earned, commissions and income from trading activities. – See basic profit, contribution margin, profit, operating, profit, return on sales.
