Haggling

In the marketplace, a particular type of negotiation in the course of which the seller and buyer of a good or service agree on the price and more detailed terms of the transaction (the process of negotiating with the intent of getting an agreement on the terms and conditions on the sale of a merchandise or a service). – In the financial sector, haggling is uncommon in Europe and the U.S. because institutions have established and posted fixed prices and terms and conditions for their services. – See posting requirement, hard claim, standard clauses.
