Down-to-earth approach (grounding)

In the context of a bank, this refers to its fixed customer base, which is usually located in a specific residential area and often spans generations, as in the case of cooperative banks and savings banks. Such institutions know their customers locally and are therefore – as financial history can prove – also immune to major defaults. They therefore have a stabilizing effect on the financial system in a country. – See relationship management, gigabank, customer loyalty, customer care, customer centricity, megamania, partner capital, silo thinking, verticalization.
