Credit report

Unless otherwise defined, this refers to the variables requested from banks in the course of the Bank Lending Survey. In addition to the terms and conditions of the loan, these include features such as incidental loan charges (incidentals: various types of fees such as commitment fees for revolving loans, administration fees, costs for investigations, guarantees and credit insurance), collateral requirements, additional agreements, the loan-to-value ratio in the case of home loans, and other details. The relevant data are published by the ECB as part of the Bank Lending Survey. – Cf. Deutsche Bundesbank’s Monthly Report of January 2009, p. 16 (list in footnote 4), p. 27 (additional questions since fall 2007).
