Citizen solar plants (private solar power plants)

Some investors join forces to finance a solar plant (solar installation, solar plant). The German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) has pointed out on several occasions that in Germany, the offering of such companies, usually established as a civil law association (GbR), is subject to the prospectus requirement in the same way as public limited partnerships (private limited partnerships) that invest in an entire solar array. – Cf.
