Break-even price (fair value)
In the case of an option, the value calculated according to a specific method at which both the buyer and the writer reach the break-even point after taking into account appropriate risk approaches, also called the theoretical price of an option. Actuaries and financial mathematicians highly value the usefulness of the corresponding models. – See Option.
