Blockbusting (also said in German, rarely translated as mine laying)
Generally dishonest tricks of windy real estate agents to buy private homeowners’ property far below value (an illegal practice often used by unfair real estate agents and developers to get homeowners to sell their property for a low price). – In particular, the pressure by dishonest real estate agents on homeowners to sell their property because foreigners have settled in the area and ghettoization is imminent (the act or practice of inducing the sale of property cheaply by exploiting the owners’ fears of lower prices if racial minorities live in the area). – In Germany, many banks have included clauses in loan agreements with real estate agents stating that the loan granted will be called in immediately in the event of complaints about blockbusting.
