Banking Supervision Committee, BSC (as it is also usually referred to in German; more rarely, Ausschuss für Bankenaufsicht)

Working group of representatives of the EU central banks and staff of the national supervisory authorities established in 1998 and based at the ECB with the aim of exchanging information on fundamental and current supervisory issues. The main focus is on systemic risks; plans for any necessary crisis management are drawn up here.
