Banker’s regular’s table and Bankers regular’s table
Casual, regular meetings of bankers from different institutions at one place in their free time, set up usually privately, sometimes also unionized (by labor unions). The purpose of the meetings is to exchange experience on all professional matters (exchange of information and experience on professional matters). Difficult customers (customers which cause difficulties) are also discussed there. – The management of the individual banks does not like these regulars’ tables, but they have to be accepted as a leisure activity. On the other hand, it is known that members of the board of directors often appreciate the information they receive at the regulars’ tables. They serve as an aid to their own business policy, for example with regard to salary classification or rules on breaks, but also with regard to dealing with local service providers such as craftsmen, cleaning services and IT companies, and with lazy customers. – See Chinese Wall, corporate fashion, delator, dissemination, gossip, reputation, invoice stacking, silo thinking, wall crossing.
