Bank Deutscher Länder, BdL (Bank of German Laender)
Independent central bank created in March 1948 as successor to the Reichsbank for the English and American zones – Bizone (bizonia) – in postwar Germany (occupied zones by the victorious powers after the end of World War II). In March 1949, the French occupied zone was also included; it was then referred to as Trizone (trizonia). – In August 1957, the trizone BdL merged with the Landeszentralbanken to form the Deutsche Bundesbank.

Als Nachfolgerin der Reichsbank im März 1948 geschaffene unabhängige Zentralbank für die englische und amerikanische Zone – Bizone (bizonia) – im nachkriegsbesetzten Deutschland (occupied zones by the victorious powers after the end of World War II). Im März 1949 wurde auch die französische Besatzungszone einbezogen; man sprach dann von Trizone (trizonia). – Im August 1957 verschmolz sich die trizonale BdL mit den Landeszentralbanken zur Deutschen Bundesbank.

Niezależny bank centralny utworzony w marcu 1948 jako następca Reichsbanku dla strefy angielskiej i amerykańskiej – Bizone (bizonia) – w powojennych Niemczech (strefy okupowane przez zwycięskie mocarstwa po zakończeniu II wojny światowej). W marcu 1949 roku włączono do niej także francuską strefę okupacyjną; określano ją wówczas jako Trizone (trizonia). – W sierpniu 1957 r. trójzaborowy BdL połączył się z Landeszentralbanken, tworząc Deutsche Bundesbank.
