Derivatives Code (guidelines relating derivatives)
Principles agreed at the end of 2006 by leading issuers of derivatives for trading in these securities. –
The focus is on the obligation of providers to present the respective design of the derivative in a balanced manner and in understandable language. The risks of the respective investment must be clearly pointed out in prospectuses and when providing personal advice to the customer. Participants who have recognized the Derivatives Code as binding may display a seal of approval. – See Derivatives transactions clearing obligation, Derivatives transactions reporting obligation, Financial market regulation.
