Generic term for all contracts tradable on the financial market that contain a
– include a delivery of goods – as in the case of options in particular – and in a very broad sense also – designate the transfer of other assets. – The contracts do not have to be issued as a written document in the narrower sense, i.e. not on paper as a medium. Rather, corresponding electronic records are now also widely sufficient as a legally valid agreement.
