Spin Doctor (so also in German, more rarely Public Relations Officer)
At an institute, a person responsible for public relations – but not necessarily for advertising. The term is largely used positively here; otherwise, it is often associated with the derogatory meaning of manipulator, spin doctor, fact twister, lie baron. – In particular, someone who conveys even unpleasant news from an institution to the public in such a way that it does not damage the image (someone in a bank who provides an interpretation of news or an event in a way that makes the news or event work to the advantage of the institute). – See churn rate, event marketing, cheese factory, kiddies manager, Munchausen, baron, factual design.
