Bulky goods charge
In the carrying business, a surcharge on the freight charge for items that take up a relatively large amount of space (bulky goods such as furniture, whitegoods [white goods: electrical household appliances, especially refrigerators, freezers, washing machines, clothes dryers and gas stoves], electrical equipment, bedding and towels, lighting, automotive parts, camping and outdoor equipment, tools, building materials and homemaker products). – See loading charge, load charge, packing charge.
