Rating stability: Term used to describe the quality of forecasts for a rating. – A high degree of stability is achieved by – accurately identifying the cause-and-effect relationship between the individual risk factors and creditworthiness, and – relating them to each other in a professional manner, taking into account the underlying time periods. – See calibration, rating agency, discriminatory power. – Cf.
