Nominal capital (share capital)
The capital stock divided into shares (capital subscribed) or share capital of a stock corporation; in Germany, it must currently be at least EUR 50,000 according to legal requirements. – Nominal capital is often confused with corporate capital, which, however, refers to the company’s assets. – See majority of shares.
