Day trade (day trading)

A purchase in which securities or goods are delivered and accepted for cash on the day of the trade. – Entering into positions which are closed out on the same day (anyone who actively trades but generally liquidates all positions within the course of the same day). – See day trading, foreign exchange, computerized, fill-or-kill order, order, same-day, scalper, day order.
