Revoked loan
A bank is entitled to refuse to pay out a promised loan if circumstances become known which make repayment on the part of the borrower appear to be at risk; see Section 610 of the German Civil Code. Banks usually expressly reserve this right in the standard terms and conditions of credit accommodation. – See covenant, credit risk, downgrade trigger clause, third-party due clause, third-party default clause, first-lien default clause, event of default, credit freeze, leveraged loan. Forfeiture clause, prepayment clause.
