Interrelated company

A corporation in which another company holds at least twenty-five percent and thus a blokking minority; there are also other definitions with regard to the percentage share. – In older publications, a company that serves, as it were, as a dumping ground for the parent company that founded it, and which the parent company itself does not want to run (often for reputational issues, image reasons). – See conduit company, special purpose entity.
