Trustee credit

In the language of the supervisory authorities, a loan in cash or in kind that – an institution grants in its own name for the account of a third party from funds made available to it by a third party, – provided that the trustee’s liability is limited to the proper administration of the loan and the payment of interest and principal; see Section 1, Paragraph 6 of the German “Grosskredit- und Millionenkreditverordnung”.
