delayed debit card (charge card)

A charge card lets customers spend up to a limit set by the provider and, where permitted, obtain cash advances. Instead of drawing immediately on a personal bank balance, the customer receives a periodic statement covering the card activity. The statement is normally payable in its entirety by the stated due date, so the product generally does not support an ongoing revolving balance like a standard credit card.
