German federal agency under the Ministry of the Interior, headquartered in Bonn. Founded in 1991, the agency’s general task is to prevent computer failure, computer misuse and computer crime. Dem Innenministerium unterstehende deutsche Bundesbehörde mit Sitz in Bonn. Das 1991 gegründete Amt hat allgemein zur Aufgabe, Computerversagen, Computermissbrauch und Computerkriminalität zu abzuwehren.
