Territory of those EU member states that have adopted the EUR as their single currency. At the beginning of 2014, these were nineteen of the twenty-eight EU states. The non-official term (Article 282 TFEU speaks of the Eurosystem) comes from English, but comes across as Germanism, especially in France.
