## Definition

A pool containing loans from only one originating bank. This means that the originator of the loans is known. Investors therefore buy the tranched loan pool of a single address. - In contrast, in a group originator securitization (multi-seller scheme), the pool contains the loans of several originators; the originator of the loans contributed in each case remains unnamed and unknown. The investor purchases tranches that have been rated accordingly by a rating agency. - See back-to-originator postulate, product registration, repayment, early, securitization, securitization paper retention, securitization structure, special purpose vehicle, restricted.
