## Definition

Graphical representation of daily price movements on the stock exchange. - As a rule, a vertical bar is drawn in the chart at the corresponding price level for each trading day; the length of the bar corresponds to the daily price fluctuations (price highs and lows). A short horizontal line, attached to the left side of the bar, indicates the opening price, on the right side the closing price. After some time of trading, a certain pattern emerges in the graph.
