# Dental investment (tooth investment). Joking term for expenses incurred in connection with the dental restoration of chewing tools that are usually lost due to age; these are also called third teeth in German and money teeth in English. – Because health insurers only partially cover the corresponding expenses, and because tax deductions for these expenses are generally hardly possible, the denture investments lead to a considerable financial burden for older people. This also results in a statistically considerable detour of income to the dental services sector. This removes demand from the goods market. – See Dinks business, Money teeth, Oldie business, Power-age financial market, Private banking, Silver economy, Woopee business.
