In Germany, stock index for innovative growth stocks that were combined in 1997 as a special segment on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The Neuer Markt was closed at the beginning of June 2003 after exceptional losses there threatened to damage the reputation of the stock exchange as a whole.
