## Definition

Acronym (= short form of the first letters of several words) for capital, asset quality, management soundness, earnings and profitability, liquidity and sensitivity to market risk. Abbreviation frequently used in connection with the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLB Act) of 2000. - Ratings from 1 to 5 are set by U.S. regulators.
